REV. Glenn & Leah O’Rourke
Glenn was born in Sydney and has been involved in Ministry from an early age. His early Ministry was as a youth leader in the Methodist Church’s Order of Knights.
In the mid 80′s, Glenn moved to the Hills Christian life Center (later to become Hillsong Church) and commenced Ministry Training in the early 90′s at Power Ministry College (later to become Hillsong International Leadership College).
During his Ministry Training Glenn was approached by Brian Houston to come on Staff as Leader of the Television Ministry of the Church, due to his background in commercial Television and live event production. This role expanded to include the responsibility of the Business management of Creative Ministries for Geoff Bullock and overseeing the technical production department of the Church.
Glenn was introduced to Jeff and Kerry Williams and Freedom Ministries during 2000 by Mike Hunnum and received a new level of Freedom through Christ.
Glenn became one of the founding team at Freedom Ministries and after meeting his wife Leah on a Ministry outreach tour to Queensland at the end of 2000 with Paster David Ready, were Married in 2001
Leah, who had grown up in Adelaide had also been involved in Ministry for many years, especially in youth and music ministry and was worship pastor at the Happy Valley Church of Christ prior to a 7 month international tour with her harp to Europe, the UK and the Middle East, including the Holy Land, during 1999.
Leah and Glenn were Ordained as Ministers by Bishop Harry Westcott of the International Communion of Charismatic Churches (ICCC – www.theiccc.com / www.theiccc.com.au) later in 2001 and continued their Ministry with Freedom Ministries, the ICCC and in the Market place through the Australian College of Entertainment until they moved to Adelaide in 2008.
Glenn and Leah currently worship at Miracle City Church (www.miraclecitychurch.com) in Adelaide and continue to support and play an active roll with Freedom Ministries and the ICCC
Glenn is also developing an online Ministry called ‘Holy Spirit River’ at www.HolySpiritRiver.com.
